BUBBA (SHORT FILM)

A woman wants to escape from her abusive relationship at any cost, except if it means leaving her pet dog behind.

Bubba is a new short film written by long time collaborators Nina Buxton and Hannah Samuel, produced by Hannah Ngo and directed by Nina Buxton. The film stars Hannah Monson, Thomas Cocquerel, Catherine Glavicic and Bev Killick.

The screenplay for Bubba was runner up at the Monte Miller Australian Writer’s Guild awards for Australia’s best unproduced scripts. The short film was funded by the Filmmaker Fund for alumni filmmakers of Rooftop Film Festival in New York.

Bubba is currently in post production.
